Rules for uploading videos

For Video-Classes:

Biophysics classes in videos (in English and in another language – with English subtitles) must be submitted for analysis by the Biophysics Education Commission of IUPAB (email: XXXX@XXX) for later availability of the link on the website of IUPAB. The videos should have been previously downloaded on YouTube and the link sent for analysis by the IUPAB Commission.

The best media format to be uploaded to YouTube should be as follow:

•        Aspect ratio:  16:9 is the most appropriated due to the modernization of the screen displays, but can be uploaded 4:3 ratio; However, there will be pillar-box added automatically to the screen.

•        Dimensions: The most recommended dimensions and ratios for standard YouTube videos are: 1280 x 720 (720p), 1920 x 1080 (1080p), and 3840 x 2160 (2160p) 4k but it takes up much band width.

•        Max file size: is 128GB or 12 hours.

•        Accepted video formats: .MOV, .MPEG4, MP4, .AVI, .WMV, .MPEGPS, .FLV, 3GPP, and WebM. (the most appropriated is MPEG4)

•        Video codec: H.264 (this info is to whom will produce the video)

 

Videos for the “What is Biophysics” channel:

 

Videos for the “What is Biophysics” channel should be in the English language and have a maximum of 1 minute. Videos should follow the following recommendations:
