The Australian Society for Biophysics and the International Union of Pure and Applied Biophysics (IUPAB) invite you to attend the 18th International Biophysics Congress which will be held in Brisbane, Australia on 3 – 7 August 2014. The Congress will feature outstanding scientific and social programs, and provide a unique opportunity to visit Australia. Brisbane is located in the heart of Australia’s premier tourist region, which includes outstanding beaches as well as World Heritage sites such as the Great Barrier Reef, Daintree Rainforest, and Fraser Island.

Travel Grants and Fellowships
IUPAB offers substantial financial support to young scientists (both students and postdocs) to assist with expenses to attend the 18th International Biophysics Congress. These grants are primarily intended for young researchers such as PhD candidates, usually up to 30 years of age, and preference is given to those from developing countries.
